COMMISSIONS

A work created for your collection.

Original commissions offer the opportunity to explore the people, places and moments of baseball that hold particular meaning to you—interpreted through the same approach to composition, texture and materials that defines the collection.

Private Collection

From personal connection to an original work.

A commission begins with a subject that holds meaning for the collector—a ballpark, player, historic moment or other connection to the game. From there, the work is developed as an original painting, with its own composition, palette, texture and character.

Each commission is approached as a new work of art rather than a reproduction of an existing painting or photograph.

THE PROCESS

From idea to finished work.

01 / CONVERSATION

We begin with the subject, story or connection you’d like the work to explore, along with the intended space and approximate scale.

02 / DIRECTION

Reference material, composition, dimensions and artistic direction are considered before the painting begins.

03 / CREATION

The work is created as an original painting, then prepared for delivery or insured shipping upon completion.
