I recently had the opportunity to attend an Artists' Retreat at Harriman State Park near Island Park, Idaho. I was surprised by number of bats there, and these bat houses were placed throughout the park. One was right outside my room, and I decided to set up right out front on the ground with my table easel and paint this since we had just had an afternoon rainstorm and I didn't want to set everything up.
